The Los Niños Service League
Over the years several volunteer auxiliaries have been founded to assist in raising funds for the Sacramento Children's Home and have become an integral part of the services involved with the Home. Founded in 1973, the Los Niños Service League has operated Casa Garden to provide ongoing financial and moral support to the children and families served by the Sacramento Children's Home.
Casa Garden is staffed entirely by volunteers, except for a professional kitchen manager and attendant personnel. There are nearly 300 of these dedicated individuals, all of whom are active members of the Los Niños Service League.
Food is planned and prepared by volunteers.
Dining room is staffed by volunteer servers and hostesses.
Gardens are planted and maintained by volunteers.
